The handmade collages project was initiated with the aim of creating unique, personalized artworks that encapsulate cherished memories and emotions. The project sought to combine creativity, craftsmanship, and sentimentality to produce one-of-a-kind pieces that evoke a sense of nostalgia and connection with music in the 90s.
The primary goal was to design and craft a series of handmade collages tailored to the culture and traditions followed within the music community. These collages would serve as meaningful keepsakes, preserving moments of significance in a visually captivating format.
My process included cutting and pasting images onto a blank piece of paper. Juxaposinf text and images I was able to create over 100 collages within a week of practice. All collages were kept in theme to match the aesthetic of the music and art industry from the past.
