"Afraid to Feel" by LF Systems
For this project, I created a lyric video for "Afraid to Feel" by LF Systems, combining real footage with motion design elements. The video blends dynamic typography, graphics, and musicality to visually capture the song's energy and mood, as if it were the official music video.
The goal was to enhance the emotional impact of the song through creative visuals and typography that flowed with the rhythm. Starting with a storyboard, I mapped out how the lyrics would interact with the visuals. I then added real footage to give the video a personal, authentic feel, complementing the music and motion design.
As the video came together, I focused on syncing the graphics with the beats, ensuring a smooth, cohesive viewing experience. The final result aimed to reflect the song's depth and intensity, creating an immersive experience that feels true to its style.
This project allowed me to explore new motion design techniques while connecting personally to the music. It’s a piece I’m proud of and enjoy watching on repeat, as it truly captures the essence of the song.
