Dishwasher Design Studio Project
In collaboration with Midea Appliances, William Darby, and Dominic Cancino, we redesigned the dishwasher experience for eco-conscious, cost-aware users. Our solution featured a streamlined interface and a companion app to enhance functionality and sustainability. Key innovations included an intuitive interface for effortless navigation, a subtle LED indicator for quick status updates, and customizable wash settings tailored to user preferences and conservation goals.
The companion app enables remote management, real-time updates, and maintenance alerts, encouraging sustainable habits. This project highlights how thoughtful design and smart technology can improve usability while promoting eco-friendly practices, setting a new standard for modern appliances.
